Ever since the iPhone was released, it was only a matter of time before Microsoft too would announce their own inhouse developed mobile handset. Sure, they have Windows Mobile but they don’t really have a handset branded with the Microsoft logo. Well, with the release of the Zune it lead to muhc speculation over the release of a possible Zune phone but no official word has been given.

Now, it seems that included in the code for a recent Zune update is the mention of a phone. Of course, this could mean any number of things but let’s just assume it means that there is a Zune Phone coming eventually, for the time being.
