Zenum OPUS PDA Mobile Phone Coming Soon

|

Hitting retailers some time this month is the Zenum OPUS PDA mobile phone, which boasts Windows Mobile 6.0. Zenum is changing up their branding strategy, and have decided to drop the Operis name, instead choosing to market the phone under the more simple "Opus."

This high-end phone is expected to debut in Europe this month, although the rest of the world shouldn't feel left out - Zenum also plans to enter into distribution agreements with carriers around the world. This classy phone will set you back a pretty penny, coming in at 799 EUR (unsubsidized of course).

Features of the phone include a full QWERTY keyboard, GSM 900/850/1800/1900, GPRS, and a TI OMAP 850 CPU. The phone will also have 128MB in-phone Flash ROM, 64MB RAM, a miniSD slot of expandable memory, Bluetooth, WiFi, IrDA, and a MiniUSB connection. It has an awesome 2.5" TFT LCD display which is, of course, touch sensitive, and a nice 2-megapixel camera. Sadly, there's no 3G yet, but Zenum says that they plan to roll one out near the end of 2008.
