Yamaha BODiBeat Digital Audio Player

|

The BODiBEAT is another device that combines "health" with multimedia gadgets, just like the iPhone and the diagnostic heart images. The digital audio player is made by Yamaha and declares itself as the "first music playback device that synchronizes your music to the movement of your workout".

The main feature of the new Yamaha player, is to match the music you are listening, to the rate of your speed. This is achieved by monitoring your pulse via a wired-clip, and also by making use of an accelerometer. If you are walking instead of running, get ready to listen to some slow music, if the contrary happens, there will be fast paced music being played.

On top of the synchronization process with the music, the player can also be synched with a computer so you can transfer and view the trainings stats.

The Yahama BODiBEAT has a price tag of $300, and only comes with 512MB of flash memory and 12 hours on the battery life.
