Will we get a Yahoophone? Well no, it was cancelled by Bartz, the new Yahoo CEO. It looks like her daughter preferred a different phone and she wasn’t impressed with the prototype her mom has given her. The Yahoophone was supposed to come filled with Yahoo services which can be totally useless if you don’t use any of them.

Motorola and AT&T were on board too and they must be pretty pissed off right now. A top Yahoo mobile executive is said to have left the company while others have been fired.

Is this a good move for Yahoo? Is this a good move for Bartz? Time will tell, but a Motorola Yahoophone wasn’t really necessary, was it?
