|

Looks like Yahoo won't take Google's beatings lying down. The company has announced the new Yahoo Mobile Development Platform. The company wishes to gear developers into developing widgets or mini-apps. All the widgets developed would be places in a Widget Gallery wherein which users could choose which ones to use. A full working SDK with guidelines isn't available yet but Yahoo promises it won't be long into the future. As of now, Yahoo has unveiled their new mobile home page, Yahoo Go 3.0. Users could access the Widget Gallery which already houses a few widgets such as those from bigwigs like eBay, MySpace and MTV.
