Yahoo Sketch-a-Search debuts at CTIA 2010By Mark Rollins - 03/24/2010 12:43:12 PM |
I had a chance to meet with some guys from Yahoo, and they showed me one of their newest Apps called Sketch-a-Search. It is primarily designed for finding restaurants. All you need to do is get a general map of the area where you want to eat out at and then draw using your finger where you will be specifically. Some pushpins will appear to show the locations of restaurants and you can sort by type.
Yahoo hopes to use this Sketch-a-Search app to find other things in the future, like real estate, health clubs, and anything that people are looking for within a designated area. If you want this now, you can get it on the App Store for free.
