Windows Mobile 7 officially announcedBy Mark Rollins - 02/15/2010 1:31:39 PM |

I’m sure that I probably don’t need to report on this, but Microsoft finally announced Windows Mobile 7, or, as they like to put it, “the Windows Phone”. The company is teaming up with Dell, Garmin-Asus, LG Samsung, Sony Ericsson, and HP to create this Mobile OS that was rebuilt from the ground up.
It is definitely made for social networking, and features picture and video sharing. It can also do music and video functions using the best of Zune technology. It also has the first and only official Xbox LIVE experience for the phone. Then there is the Office function.
Microsoft hopes to roll out Windows 7 by the holiday season of 2010.
