Windows Mobile 6.5 to Arrive in September 2009; Windows Mobile 7 in April 2010

It seems we have arrival dates for both Windows Mobile 6.5 and Windows Mobile 7. Windows Mobile 6.5 should be presented in all its glory at the MWC. Microsoft will release it then in Q3 and sources say that means September. Windows Mobile 7 on the other hand might not be presented at the MWC but early beta versions of the OS might be available as soon as November 2009 with an official release of Windows Mobile 7 in April 2010. Are any of these Microsoft OS going to successfully battle Apple, Android or Palm?

Seems like the windows mobile “legacy” is dead! failure to be fast,response and up to date is killing it faster than MS can shove out a new version.
The wm7 delay is the major factor I will be going for an ipone in the near future. It is updated regularly, has less bugs, is faster and as of now it can do pretty much anything a wm phone will do! So would I bother with an OS that is slower(wm6.1) and crashes like an old windws 98 system each time I need to multi-task! It that case its better not to have the option to multi task at all!!!
