Did you think Microsoft was just going to scrap Windows Mobile 6.5 all together when Windows Phone 7 Series was released? If you thought that, you’d be wrong. It was recently made known that 6.5 will, in fact, become Windows Mobile Starter Edition. Considering it’s a Starter Edition, Microsoft will most likely make the price of it very cheap while crippling almost all of its functionality.

Now where have we seen that before? Oh yeah, with their desktop operating systems.
