Video: Multi-Touch in Windows 7
The web is full of pictures and news about Windows 7. Apparently Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer have announced it. Isn’t this Windows Seventeen? I must be counting wrong but I am sure there were more versions that 7. Are they skipping Vista? Denial comes first I’ll give them that.

So Bill, Steve, what are you getting yourselves into. What is this? It seems like a video game. Who did you copy this time? Is this a preview of Apple’s better version of Windows 7?

Here’s what we managed to find out about Windows 7 from all the internet talk about it:
• an OSX-like dock, wow, what a surprise
• multi-touch gestures in photo galleries like two-finger zoom, flicking, and panning.
• multi-touch paint program where you can draw with 10 fingers
• multi-touch piano app
• in-depth mapping application that pulls from Microsoft’s Live Maps and Microsoft Virtual Earth.

That’s all? A lot of touch applications and features. What else?

From a different point of view, who are we to buy the new touch LCDs from? Dare I say Micro(something)screens a subsidiary of Microsoft?

I need a 5 minutes break to get all this in. More pictures bellow.
