WiMAX iPhone to Arrive in Korea?By Chris - 10/13/2008 4:56:26 PM |

Chinese manufacturers want Apple to remove Apple’s 3G and WiFi support in order for its customers to use only its network. On the opposite side of that request is the Korean Telecom company which is asking Apple to include WiBro connectivity in iPods and MacBooks made for the Korean market. WiBro is the Korean WiMAX version. Are we to expect the same request for WiMAX iPhones?
Korean Telecom and Apple have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the iPods and MacBooks but an agreement for the iPhone isn’t official just yet.
