WiFi-Enabled MicroSD Cards Anyone?By Chris - 07/26/2009 8:10:52 PM |
Does your phone come with WiFi support or you’re waiting for a good excuse to get a WiFi-enabled phone? Well we’ve found an alternative solution for you, a WiFi-enabled microSD card. The card has been developed by the KDDI Corp and it can offer you instant WiFi access to any phone that comes with microSD support. The card has an 802.11b/g antenna that will do all the work for you. It won’t only work with phones but with laptops and other gadgets that can handle a microSD card and a WiFi connection. We have no idea how much one costs just yet and there’s no arrival date but we’ll be on the look out!\
