Whole Day Battery from Asus

Here’s finally a very good news coming from Asus related to their Eee PC line. It’s not another Eee product, but a new battery. And Asus is going to launch a whole day battery for the Eee PC. The current battery will get you about two and a half hours of life and such an upgrade will be more than welcome. Provided that the price won’t change this is probably the best upgrade they could offer.

Besides battery life Asus says they will update software and hardware monthly to freshen up the Eee PC. What do you think, would you get a netbook with a better battery? The competition should be preparing to offer similar batteries soon.
