What Moms Want: Digital Cameras

Mother’s Day is coming soon and many are wondering what moms want. In a recent national survey from Circuit City, they asked that question to figure out what ranked on the top of the list for Mother's Day gifts. The survey involved over 3000 moms and dads across the country who were asked to choose their preferred Mother’s Day Gift. Ranking on the top of the list was a new digital camera. Data collected showed that 20% of moms chose a digital camera. Other statistics from the survey were:

-- 16 percent chose flowers
-- 16 percent chose a camcorder
-- 12 percent chose DVD movies or music CDs
-- 9 percent chose an MP3 player
-- 1 percent chose candy

The survey was commissioned by Circuit City Stores and conducted by Decision Analyst, an independent research firm. With the results, Circuit City decided to celebrate Mother’s Day with special events related to Digital Imaging.
