How did you like the video I just found? Besides being really funny and all I found it really sort-of-sad. Are we spending too much time playing with our phones? When is the last time you used a regular old fashioned cell phone? You know, a cell phone that only can store up to 200 contacts in its memory? You know a phone without a camera?

Aren’t we exaggerating when we’re asking for smarter phones? Right now we have the HTC Touch Diamond launching everywhere, the Instinct from Samsung getting a sweat deal, the second iPhone bringing 3G and lots of applications, the Thunder preparing to emerge from RIM and so on.

And what about carrier and their plans? AT&T going full HSPA, Alltel upgrading their EVDO coverage, T-Mobile introducing their @Home plan?
Thousands of minutes and SMS. Voice messages and high speed internet connection.

Oh wait, this all sounds really good. Not even close to sad. Who am I to argue technology and its evolution. Smartphones are good as long as you know when you have to cut them out of your real life. Everyone send in your smartphones, I’m going to start a YouTube video myself.
