Warning labels on cell phones in California and Maine?

About a week ago, some “representative in Maine has apparently persuaded her colleagues to let her bring up a proposal during January’s session of the state legislature that would require warnings on devices about the alleged link between RF emissions and brain cancer, strongly advising users to keep the devices away from their heads and bodies”.

Uh-oh, are we looking at an era with cell phone warning labels? Well, San Franciso’s Department of the Environment wants to have radiation levels of cellular phones displayed prominently next to the price at retail outlets.

Would some please just prove that cell phones are hazardous to your health already and hire that guy from Thank You for Smoking? You know what bothers me about this? If East Coasters in Maine want to give cell phones warning labels, and West Coasters in San Francisco want to do the same, then how long before all states require that label. Hopefully Alaska and Hawaii are safe.
