In order to provide a beter guest experience at Walt Disney Parks, there is a new venture related with mobile phones and made in cooperation with Verizon. Basically, the guests will have a “personal tour guide” on their cellphones.

This new service will become available on the beginning of 2009, and will let users do the following tasks:

- locate shows and places to eat a.k.a. restaurants
- locate Disney characters that are inside the park
- play mobile games
- and much more

Jay Rasulo of Walt Disney, comments:

Imagine receiving up to the minute tips on special Park activities with just the touch of a button or receiving a call from Buzz Lightyear welcoming you to the Magic Kingdom.
