VoiceSense is the new Personal Digital Assistant made by a Japanese company called Extra, it is directed for a special market which is the blind people.

The special PDA device has unique features to accommodate the impaired people, besides running Windows CE as the operative system, the gadget has a vocal guiding system so the users can navigate easily, and an unique keyboard which means it isn’t on the QWERTY category of normal keyboards.

Additionally, the VoiceSense lets users write documents, has a PIM system that includes normal a schedule/calendar, alarm clocks, to-do lists also known as tasks, and a contact list. It still has an internet browser with webmail features and optional MSN Messenger, a MP3 Player, and AM/FM radio tuner. The internet features can be done thanks to the wireless Wi-Fi connection. To expand the memory there are SD and CF memory card slots.

The VoiceSense from Extra will be available in July 21 in Japan and cost ?1,560, close to $2,150.
