Voice Pay: World’s First Voice-Certified Payment Processing SystemBy Mariella - 05/01/2007 1:39:33 AM |
To substantially reduce threat of credit and debit fraud, for the first time consumers can now use a voice verified payment processing system. Voice Pay, the world’s first voice-verified payment processing system, launched today and is expected to change how mobile and Internet payments are conducted. The customer’s own voice is used as a way to digitally sign and authorize payments using VoiceVault voice biometric authentication, a technology which is already used by global banks, insurers and public sector organizations. Access to a phone is the only requirement needed to access and use VoicePay’s secure, quick and easy services. Also, Voice Pay accounts can additionally be linked to a physical or virtual Visa or MasterCard.
