This coming January, Vodafone will start offering the iPhone in the UK practically for free. The contracts vary of course. All potential customers have to sign up with a 2 year contract to avail of these iPhones. The wireless plans are as follows:

  • iPhone 3G (£35 a month)
  • iPhone 3GS 16GB (£45 a month)
  • iPhone 3GS 32GB (£75 a month)

This includes a monthly data transfer of 1GB with unlimited WiFi connectivity. Users who want more need to pay £5 a month per 500 MB data transfers.
