Vodafone has decided to buy Wayfinder. The Swedish company has all sorts of GPS solutions for mobile phones running on Symbian, UIQ, Windows Mobile and other mobile OS. Vodafone is ready to pay $29.3 million for all the shares of the company. And the company wants to sell too as the board has advised shareholders to sell theirs.

Will Wayfinder become a part of Vodafone? We’re going to keep you updated on the purchase especially since most smartphones these day carry GPS. Which means future Vodafone smartphones will have customized Vodafone Wayfinder GPS applications.
