Vodafone 1231 Phone FCC ApprovedBy Paul Briggs - 11/05/2008 11:02:34 PM |
ZTE is joining in on the smartphone competition as the Vodafone 1231 has shown up at the FCC. The phone will feature a QVGA display and GPS on a large 2.5-inch display, 64MB RAM, 1.3 megapixel camera. However, it surprisingly lacks 3G and Wi-Fi, so that means, it can’t compete with the more top-end phones in the market today.
Vodafone 1231 measures 113 x 65.4 x 14.5 mm, weighs 130 grams and draws its juice from a 1100 mAh Li-Ion battery. There is no information on the device pricing and availability, but without 3G and Wi-fi, it will pretty much be an affordable handset.
