Visual Sound Mobile Phone for the Deaf

Visual Sound Mobile Phone for the DeafHere is an odd-looking mobile phone but there is a reason for that. The Visual Sound mobile phone was made for the deaf people which converts voice inputs into text. Neat! The phone is designed with two pillars that makes it look like a scroll.

To make use of the device, the person using it feeds text onto the touch screen display which is then converted to a voice simulation for the person on the other end of the line (or phone). The only drawback is the time element but as long as it works to let the impaired people enjoy technology, it is a start! The Visual Sound Mobile Phone was designed by Suhyun Kim.
