Vision-Based Games for the iPhone Launched

Hit Lab NZ has unveiled a couple of interaction-based software games. The new games rely on camera-based augmented reality gaming for the iPhone and offer a new kind of gaming alternative by combining game play with the actual world.

There are two games available now at the iTunes app store and these are the “Drift” and the “Splatter Bugs”. These iPhone games makes use of the built-in camera of iPhones to read a physical game-card which integrates actual game settings with modern day reality. The “Drift” and “Splatter Bugs augmented reality apps are now available at the iTunes app store for $0.99.
