If there is one app that is quietly listed that may catch your fancy, it may be Virtual Villagers 2. Though most gamers prefer to get it and play it on their PC, it makes sense to have on your iPhone. For one, it is similar to that virtual pet called Tamagochi. You simply set the career path of the villagers who are left stranded on an island. To survive, each villager must learn the various trades such as Science, Farming, Construction and of course Parenting.

The game takes time to play and reap the dividends but why not play god and see how your tribe grows. Set the game to normal or 2X fast to discover the various technologies which could be very trick if you are not careful

The Virtual Villagers 2 for the iPhone or iPod Touch is now available at the Apple App Store. You can download it for $1.99. If you want to try it out first, there is a Virtual Villagers Lite app which you can download for free.
