crash471574A lot of magazines are going into iPad format, like Wired and others, but Virgin is taking it a step further as they announced a magazine that is entirely electric.

This new magazine is called Maverick, and will be edited by Holly Branson, daughter of Virgin’s founder Richard Branson. Maverick will first be on the iPad platform and will soon come to the iPhone and Android devices.

So, is print dead at last? Well, I think that might take a little while. We’ll see how Maverick will do when it launches in October.
