Vertu’s carbon fiber wrapped Ascent Ti handsetBy Jeff Baker - 07/20/2009 11:03:14 PM |
Vertu has announced yet another luxury handset this time entitled the Ascent Ti.
The Ascent Ti’s body is made almost entirely out of carbon fiber, a material that has been known for being ridiculously strong while maintaining a low weight. While the press release doesn’t state much we’ll just assume that it has the same features of the Ascent Ti that made its way through the FCC over two years ago: a 3MP camera with 8x digital zoom, and Bluetooth.
You didn’t think this handset would be cheap, did you? Good, because Vertu has said it will be available next month with “prices available upon request”. AKA, none of us will be able to afford it.
Sure, carbon fiber matched with lack-luster features is cool and all, but does it have an App Store?
