Verizon Wireless to Launch Samsung Trance

A new Samsung phone, and we had a lot of those lately, is going to Verizon Wireless. The Trance will go on sale tomorrow, April 24 and it will cost just $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a 2-year contract. The Trance is a phone dedicated to music and here’s what you can expect from it:
- 2.1-inch display with 176 x 220 resolution
- CDMA 1X 800/1900mHz Digital Only
- 1.3 megapixel camera
- 1GB of Internal memory dedicated to Music, up to 16GB microSD expansion
- 3.5mm headset jack
- Bluetooth
- Mobile email, mobile web, VZ Navigator, Chaperone Parent and chat capable
- V CAST music with Rhapsody support
- Music Player for MP3, WMA & unprotected AAC & unprotected AAC+ Formats
- Bang & Olufsen ICEpower external speakers
- One touch access to music and ability to create & manage playlists and to multitask while listening to music
- Sync music from PC to phone (over the air music downloads are not supported)
- Text, Picture, and Voice Messaging with threaded messaging feature
- Tools: Alarm Clock, World Clock, Calculator with Converter, Stop Watch
