Verizon Wireless to Launch Network Extender Femtocell on January 25

Verizon Wireless is finally going to launch its own femtocell service starting on January 25. That femtocell device in the picture there looks like a small cellular but it isn’t. It’s more than that! It’s a cellphone tower in miniature which will get you better access to Verizon’s network no matter where you are. The device will get you about 5,000 square feet of Verizon signal and therefore it costs a few extra dollars. Look for it this Sunday in stores and bring your spare $249.99.
