Verizon Wireless has three new applications and a new site ready. The applications will interact with the voice recording feature on various phones and they will allow subscribers to create new content. The content will be available on the phone itself and it could be shared with other Verizon subscribers.

Sonic Boom’s ToneMaker will let users create their own music by adding their voice over already existing music. The final tunes can be used as ringtones and they can be shared with others. The service will be available on Verizon handsets with Get It Now Internet service for $3.99.

YouTunes from FunMobility has a similar concept. Users can combine voice with pre-recorded music to transform them in ringtones or audio messages. YouTunes will charge $2.49 for each final ringtone.

mSpot’s Make-Ur-Tones will let users create customized ringtones from a catalog of over 250,000 music tracks. Users can select a 30-second bit of any song they want to turn into a ringtone. Each ringtone will cost $2.49.

What do you think? Would you actually use any of these apps? Now let’s have a look to Verizon’s newest mobile website for V Cast video content. The site is m.vcast.com and it will let you browse content by category or channel. Whatever you choose from it you can watch on your phone. Sharing content via Twitter will also be possible with this new site. For now Verizon has V Cast available on just two phones and they are both LGs, the Voyager and the Dare. More phones are expected to support V Cast in the future.
