Verizon Wireless Launched the Blitz

Feel like getting a new handset? Check out Verizon Wireless as it launched a new device called the Blitz. It’s a mid ranged phone but it might be exactly what you needed.

The Blitz will come for just $69.99 after $50 mail-in rebate with a 2 year agreement. For that price you will get a 1.3 megapixel camera, a 2.2 inch screen, a built-in MP3 player, memory support for up to 4GB microSD cars and A2DP Bluetooth. Instant Messenger support and MMS are also included. The full QWERTY keyboard will come in handy and so will the support for voice commands. Verizon’s V CAST Music with Rhapsody service is also available for just $14.99 per month.

Heya, I just purchased the Blitz as an upgrade for $50..dont let the verizon store try to sell it to you for $180! go online its no more than $70 or so with new membership…Was not to fond of phone when it first arrived, however now i love it..ordered it in evening and arrived next morning through fed ex..best phone i have ever had..

PROS: huge screen, you get used to the keys, cute sound when you open and close it, great speakerphone,comes with USB cable for vcast music, bluetooth, big lettering for phone numbers, nice dark blue color.

CONS: delayed pictures - takes extra 5 seconds after you click to take a picture to actually capture it, the preloaded ringtones are crap, easy to scratch, easily fingerprinted, and now verizon charges you everytime you go on internet - example: ‘get it now’..$1.99 everytime you connect so be aware!

Overall phone is awesome smart investment couldnt be happier! =]
