Woohoo, the Palm Centro is coming! Who’s expecting it anyway? Why is Verizon doing this anyway? Is this how they answer to AT&T and their 3G iPhone plans. Cute marketing strategy! And they are supposed to launch it this Friday, on June 13th. Even cuter.

If you want a Palm Centro, be prepared to pay only $269.99 for a 2 year contract. Or save yourself $70 and go to AT&T for a 3G iPhone. Apparently there’s a $70 mail in rebate but I am still not convinced that Verizon is sober these days. What would you choose, a Sprint Palm Centro for $99 or a Verizon Palm Centro for $199 after $70 mail in rebate? Tough question really.
