In case you don’t know, Verizon and Google reached an important agreement today. Ignoring Microsoft’s special day, the two giants said that they will work together to bring the Android experience to Verizon subscribers soon.

The first two phones coming to Verizon stores are the Motorola Droid, rumored to be available on October 30 and HTC’s Hero which will hit the streets sometime in November. We don’t have the precise details yet but everything is confirmed. Check out Google’s CEO Eric Schmidt and Verizon’s CEO Lowell McAdam holding Verizon branded Android phones in the picture above.
