Verizon to Deploy LTE in Q1 2010 Just in Time for Apple’s Tablet?By Chris - 07/24/2009 9:30:11 PM |
As you’ve already read earlier today, Apple’s tablet is apparently set to be unveiled sometime early next year and the designated carrier to offer it at subsidized prices seems to be Verizon. On the other hand we already know that Verizon plans to launch its LTE network next year. Now, following the logical process of human thinking it would be only natural for Verizon to want to offer LTE connectivity to those new Apple tablet customers. And apparently that’s exactly what Verizon is thinking. Word on the street is that Big Red wants to have its LTE network in place and working in the first quarter of the year. That’s exactly when Apple should announce its iPhone-like tablet. But let’s stop the rumor mill for a while and wait for some official confirmation for all of these. What about you? Getting anxious to play with the first Apple tablet?
