Yesterday we let you know that the Motorola DROID for Verizon would getting updated an update to Android version 2.1 in the coming days. However, BGR is reporting that the update is being delayed due to a last minute bug find. This hasn’t been confirmed but they have also recieved the screenshot of an email that says the update is getting delayed.

If you’ve been paying attention you’ll know that back in February the update was delayed as well. And, with no release date for the Android 2.1 confirmed I’m beginning to doubt that the update will ever drop.
