Verizon Launches the New SCH-u740 from Samsung
Today Verizon Wireless announced the availability of the Samsung SCH-u740 mobile phone, which features a dual-hinge that allows you to use the phone both horizontally and vertically. The SCH-u740 has a full QWERTY keyboard, which can be used when the phone is opened horizontally. Using this features allows users to send text messages an e-mail quickly and fastly.
Opening the phone vertically, it looks like a regular, thin clamshell phone. It features a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth capabilities, and a number of voice commands. Customers also have access to V CAST music and video, Get It Now(R) and Mobile Web 2.0(SM)
The Samsung SCH-u740 is available in a metallic champagne color, suitable for both men and women. You can get the phone from the Verizon Wireless website, or through Verizon retail stores. It is available for $149.95 with a $50 mail-in rebate and two year agreement.
