Verizon comes out with FiOS Mobile Remote app for Motorola Droid or HTC ImagioBy Mark Rollins - 02/20/2010 4:53:14 PM |
We have covered a lot of TV controllers from the phone before, and they have mostly been for the iPhone. This is one from Verizon that is set up for FiOS.
This application is designed to work for Motorola Droid and HTC Imagio, and hooks into the FiOS box via WiFi. The app uses the regular remote buttons, and has icon-based favorites view of channels. It also can take photos from the phone and put them on the screen.
I’m not certain why this is only available for these two phones, but I’m sure it will be more.
