Good news for Verizon customers that own a BlackBerry Curve 8530, because according to rumors the operative system will receive an update in the following weeks, which will mark it as version 5.0.0.508.

With this update comes a new set of features and improvements, more specifically:

- video streaming has been improved, as well as bluetooth and the voice activated dialing function;
- the lock-key function is now more simple to use;
- the battery is suppose to last longer;
