If you are the proud owner of one of the following BlackBerries: Curve 8330, Pearl 8130, and 8830 World Edition you are in luck. Verizon has just announced their mobile banking support for those models. You can “stay connected to their financial information while away from home with Verizon Wireless’ Mobile Banking application.”
All you need to go mobile banking is an application from the VZ Start homepage. The application is free and there’s no monthly charges. All you will have to pay for is the data service.
With the Mobile Banking you will be able to get account balances and account transaction history, transfer funds between accounts from the same financial institution, view bills and pay them and view the last five completed transactions. If you’re always on the go, these features might be just what you were looking for. Hopefully Verizon is going to add support for the newest BlackBerry smartphones which are supposed to arrive soon, the Bold and the Thunder.
