Verizon 4G LTE Handsets Coming in 2011By Brian - 03/11/2010 10:47:51 PM |
4G networks have been incrementally going up so the next thing that you would expect would be new 4G capable handsets available in the market. Apparently Verizon Wireless is making sure that they will not be left out, announcing that they will be unveiling their first 4G handset by the middle of 2011.
Verizon’s first handsets will use two chips to allow the device to operate on 4G and 3G networks. However one big issue that people would want to consider is the cost of data on the faster networks. Should this happen, it could signal the end of unlimited data plans in America. And on that note, metered pricing may come forth to cover new network installation costs.
