One of the interesting things about doing a review of a keyboard is that you automatically get the perfect metric for testing the product while writing the piece itself. All you have to do is type the review up on the keyboard itself and then relate the experience.
The V7 Natural comes with a series of hotkeys to control different aspects of your computing experience, and, oddly enough, jacks for your headset and microphone. The USB cable has separate jacks for plugging in the headset and microphone, should you favor them. This is probably a great move for anyone with short-cabled audio gear.
So-called natural or ergonomic keyboards are said to present less stress on wrists and joints by being more accommodating of natural wrist function. But all I’m getting out of this is a horrendous wrist cramp. For something so designed to make typing easier, this thing sure seems to make it tougher! And in all honesty, I’ve never had such a hard time hitting the backspace key. Maybe after a while to get used to it, the story might be different. But as it sits right now, I can’t recommend this keyboard. it’s a pain in the fingers.
