V7 Laser Gaming Mouse Review–Good Solid ModelBy Steve Anderson - 12/04/2009 1:19:40 AM |
Now, I know it’s going to seem kind of weird, me writing about mice and all. You’re probably looking at this whole thing askance and saying, that’s just a mouse. You move it and click on things. How can any one be that different from another?
I said much the same thing until I started looking at them. The V7 Laser Gaming Mouse has a few features you wouldn’t expect, like a laser instead of a trackball (I know, these days, the trackball is actually rarer, but still, it’s a detail worth mentioning) it has two programmable side buttons in addition to the two topmount buttons and a scroll wheel.
It’s smooth, it’s easy to operate (the side buttons do take some getting used to but it’s not like they really get in the way), and it doesn’t even need software (though it does come with it, should you need it) to install and use.
So as gaming mice go, the V7 Laser Gaming Mouse is pretty solid.
Rating 7/10
The Good
Extra buttons
Nicely accurate
Simple to install and use
The Bad
Programmable sides take some getting used to
