V7 2.4GhZ Wireless Laser Mouse–A Fairly Solid ModelBy Steve Anderson - 12/11/2009 3:54:51 AM |
I confess that I’m always a little leery of wireless peripherals. And while V7 has given me a lot of reason to smile so far, handing over a whole slew of great peripherals, there’s always still that risk. Thankfully, i didn’t have that much trouble with the V7 2.4 GhZ Wireless Laser Mouse, and frankly, i doubt you will either.
It’s a standard two button mouse with a scroll wheel, the key difference here being that, not surprisingly, it’s wireless. The receiver is this TINY little USB plug-in, and frankly, it almost looks so flimsy that it couldn’t possibly work. But it does, and none too bad either. Your mileage, however, may vary.
What I think we may be looking at here is a relative rarity–a wireless travel mouse. See, the mouse itself is normal size, yet the receiver is very tiny. This to me suggests that the whole thing could easily be adapted for laptop users, making it great for travel.
But one thing’s clear enough, no matter how you use it, you should be happy with it.
The Good
Small and travel sized
No cords to get in the way
The Bad
No special features at all
Final score: 7/10
