US Senator wants Apple to explain iPhone 4 problemsBy Mark Rollins - 07/16/2010 1:38:42 PM |
Sometimes I wonder when it is right for the government to step into private enterprise. I mean, we expect some higher power to step in when the BP/Gulf of Mexico oil spill happens, and now US Senator Chuck Schumer from New York has chimed in about the iPhone 4 problems.
In fact, he issued a press release that asks that Apple deliver a “clearly written explanation” of the reception problem. Something tells me that this is what today’s press conference is about, or at least some sort of motivation for it.
I believe that conference is going on as I write this. I would love to see if the US senator’s request is mentioned. Probably not, though.
