Here’s an invention we felt it was coming. The flexible touchscreen display in the picture above is the result of a joint adventure between ASU’s Flexible Display Center and the military. The display was designed mainly for military applications and it’s made out of really strong glass able to survive the battle. The glass isn’t solid glass but it’s made from a special material from DuPont Tijin Films. The display is really thin and it will bend without damaging the gadgets. The device comes with E-ink Corp technology which will let you write, store and erase content easily. ASU says this technology will be available in about 18 months and it’s probably going straight to the military.
