People who wished they can play the violin can turn to the next best thing. With the String Trio app for the iPhone and iPod Touch, press play on your Apple device and turn it into a virtual bow as if you are playing an actual violin.

The app makes use of the iPhone’s motion sensor to detect the right angles and length of your strokes and adjusts accordingly. The String Trio app is now available at the iTunes app store for only $1.99.
