Truphone to release “Local Anywhere” SIM card

By Tony - 01/25/2010 6:58:41 PM

truephone-logoTruphone has announced a new SIM card that will become pretty useful for people that travel between the US and the UK. Instead of making use of the expensive roaming services, the Truphone is able to provide a local number for the customers, and it doesn’t matter the country they are in.

The rates will also be local in countries where Truphone has activity, the lowest start at 12 cents per minute. In order to use the new “Local Anywhere” service you will need an unlocked GSM phone, and also a new SIM card. In 2010 Truphone wants to expand the “Local Anywhere” service to other countries in the world besides UK and US.
