Touchscreen Vaios from Sony coming soon

We’ve seen several touchscreen offerings from PC-makers far-and-wide who utilize the updated capabilities of Windows 7, but never from Sony.

That’s soon to chance as a Sony exec was recently quoted to say that there would be touchscreen Vaio laptops close to or on Windows 7′s release date (October 22nd). To avoid confusion, what is pictured above is not one of the touch-screen laptops but one of Sony’s other offerings.

That’s not all though as Sony reportedly hopes to allow their Vaios to download content from the PS3′s Playstation Network. If this is true it would include movies, TV shows and potentially even games.
