Toshiba upgrades Qosmio G40W Notebook

Toshiba has decided to make the Qosmio G40 notebook even better, and added a new processor and graphics card, renaming it to Toshiba Qosmio G40W. I'm still not used to see such blue LED lights and controls near the keyboard on a laptop, but I must admit it looks rather stylish. With that being said, the Qosmio G40W now sports a Core 2 Duo T7500 processor which gives a final “speed” of 2.2Ghz. The memory RAM is still the same, at 2GB, but the graphics card has also changed to a GeForce 8600M GT.

The rest is all the same, optical HD-DVD drive, a 17-inch LCD screen with 1900x1200 resolution, and 2 digital TV Tuners. The Qosmio G40W has a price tag of €1,920, close to $2,800.
