Toshiba TG01 HandsetBy Brian - 02/03/2009 10:48:31 AM |

Toshiba is normally associated with laptops or television sets. But today, it seems that they have dipped their hand on the area of mobile solutions as we can see in their latest offering, the Toshiba TG01 Handset.
The TG01 was presented today during an event held in London. It is said to be among the thinnest touchscreen devices ever, as it measures only 9.9 mm in thickness. It has the largest display in the history of mobile phones: a 4.1 inch one, with a WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution.
It is expected to be unveiled at the MWC 2009 where exact details about its availability and price might also be unveiled.
